About Betsy
Much of Betsy’s work is behind the scenes, but what fuels her most is being able to directly connect with clients. She enjoys being able to help them navigate complex processes that can sometimes feel overwhelming. In her role, she also fulfills client service requests and serves as the Charlotte office’s CCH (Chief Cat Herder) to ensure that client needs are directed to the appropriate team member. She’s proud to be part of a team that provides peace of mind and helps people achieve financial independence. She particularly enjoys having meaningful conversations with clients since she often is the first voice a client hears when reaching out to the Charlotte office.
A Lexington, Kentucky, native, Betsy and her husband, Brian, are empty nesters with four grown sons between them and one four-legged child named Fuzz, who can often be seen on her Zoom calls. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching sunsets in her free time.
Education and Professional Milestones
-Appalachian State University - bachelor’s degree
-Joined Focus Partners Wealth through the firm’s 2021 merger with Carolina Capital Consulting, where she had worked for 13 years
-Was an underwriter and marketing representative in the insurance industry and then a full-time mom for 10 years
