Aaron enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and spending time with his wife Cynthia and their three children.

- Also held a financial services role with Wealth Management Advisors, Inc.
- Won the NCAA Division I National Hockey Championship with the University of North Dakota
- Played three years of professional hockey
- Represented Team USA twice in an international hockey tournament winning silver (1997) and bronze (2017)
